About Jacqui

Jacqui has worked in the community private sector with adults of all ages and various diagnoses for the past 17 years. She graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy in 1994 with honors. In the same year she also received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from the same university.
Jacqui has a strong value for enabling people with disabilities to live the best quality of life they wish. It is this core value combined with her interest in science and humanities which lead her to a career in occupational therapy.
Health and fitness are also personal interests to Jacqui. She began university in 1989 enrolled in Kinesiology (the study of human movement) and completed the degree concurrently with occupational therapy. Her background in kinesiology helps to bolster the experience she brings to ergonomics in industry.
The mayflower on this site, is a patriotic symbol of Nova Scotia. This wildflower reliably blooms in early spring each year despite the harsh winters of our province.
